ACG Silicon Valley Names Michele Macpherson to Board of Directors
DISCERN COO brings extensive experience building tech companies and nonprofits
San Jose, CA – June 21, 2017 – ACG Silicon Valley, a chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, today announced that Michele Macpherson, COO of DISCERN, has been named to its board of directors. As the Valley’s premier business organization, ACG Silicon Valley is dedicated to bringing together a group of leaders assembled by invitation only and providing a unique experience with like-minded senior executives.
Macpherson currently serves as COO of DISCERN. She also serves on the advisory board of Pinpoint Predictive. Previously, she was General Manager of NCR’s Entertainment Division (acquired by Coinstar) where she led acquisition strategies. She has extensive experience advising venture-backed technology companies on growth strategy, and has held board positions at nonprofit organizations including the Girls’ Middle School in Palo Alto. Macpherson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Stanford.
